Frequently Asked Questions

How soon Can I start working with you?

It depends! If we work together 1:1, I commit to having capacity to respond and meet with you as needed so I only take on as many clients as I can effectively serve at once.

HTMA Analyses are always available.

What is HTMA testing?

HTMA testing is a laboratory test used to measure the levels of minerals in a person's hair. It is a useful tool to assess mineral imbalances/deficiencies, adrenal and thyroid function, and metabolic health. Complete the Contact Me form below to learn more!

Will I require testing of any kind?

Maybe-we will work together to find what, if any, testing may be supportive and appropriate for you.

How do I prepare for my first consultation?

Before your first consultation, it’s helpful to have some details about your health history, any medications or supplements you take, and your typical eating habits. You may also want to write down any specific questions or goals you have in mind.

Do you offer virtual or in person sessions?

I always offer virtual sessions for your convenience! If you are in the Kansas City metro and prefer an in-person experience, we can explore this.

What is the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a healthcare professional who has completed a degree in nutrition, passed a national exam, and completed supervised practice hours. They are licensed and regulated by state laws. A "nutritionist" can be a general term used by anyone offering nutrition advice, but they may not have the same formal education or credentials as a dietitian.
